Mandira Magar, 7, who was the daughter of a labourer from Udaypur died on the spot after a tripper heading to Trishuli river to extract sands from the river bed hit her near Belkhukhola of Bairini VDC-7 this morning.
Similarly, two other children, who had come running to see the unfortunate accident, were also hit by a passenger bus (Na 3 Kha 7736) heading to Gaighat from Kathmandu. Rabin Baral, 11, of Baireni VDC died while receiving treatment at Gajuri hospital, while his friend Rajan Lama, 7, of the same VDC was seriously injured and has been rushed to Kathmandu for further treatment.
