Students of Tribhuvan University's English Department vandalised the department's office to protest its decision to repeat the exam of a subject, which was conducted on September 9, after revelation that the question paper resembled with that of an internal exam conducted earlier.
Saying that the decision is not acceptable, the students smashed the windowpanes and some furniture of the English Department.
The Department's administration said that the exam of Linguistics and Literature would be carried again on October 10. The decision comes following the notice from National Vigilance Centre saying that the question paper resembled with the question paper of previous exam and that the English Department should be held accountable for the wrongdoing.
