Number of tourists visiting Bhaktapur doubled

Number of tourists visiting cultural heritages in Bhaktapur has increased by double this year as compared to last year.Of the number, most of them are Chinese, it is learnt.

Now the Bhaktapur district, which is beautiful, peaceful and rich of archeological heritages, is full of foreign tourists.

Bhaktapur district is an attraction to tourists due to culture and rare heritages including Bhaktapur Peacock Window known as Monalisa of Asia.

Now, around 500 foreign tourists visit Bhaktapur per day, according to the tourism section of Bhaktapur Municipality.

The section said around 10,000 foreign tourists visited Bhaktapur last month while the number of tourists visiting the district is over 10,000 till the half of this month.
