Scan and save pdf file

1. Place the document face-down on the platen glass.

2. Press the Scan button on the machine.

The machine switches to Scan Mode.

3. Specify what to do with the scanned image data from the Scan Mode screen of the machine (according to preference).

The following scan modes will be displayed:

Save to PC: Scan and save documents.

Save as PDF file: Scan documents and save them as PDF files.

Attach to E-mail: Scan documents and attach them to an e-mail by using an e-mail software program.

Open with application: Scan documents and open them with a specific application.

Advanced settings for these modes can be changed from your computer.
