Power is with us

When a person loses one hand, he starts working with another; if the person loses both, he manages to work with his feet. We have many times witnessed such will power. Sometimes, it is even heard that people develop the sixth sense. When one sense becomes weak, another becomes strong,

like when a person’s sight becomes weak, his hearing ability is enhanced. The compensation factor works in this unique

miracle like manner. Sometimes, the body develops such an ability that they become more endowed than the average people.

Our country is a similar body, having two parts, government and citizens. And one part is very weak, which is the government. It tries very hard yet mises the best. Another is the citizens, who have always been dependent on the government. We, citizens have not yet tried our best. To make the country work best, we have to become strong. We have power and we have to use it. By using our power we can make our country extraordinary. So, why only depend on the government, let’s try to bring changes ourselves.

Let us develop ourselves and also help others to develop to do some good for this country. When we look around we say that there is no hope, but there is if one thinks and act in the right direction. Nepal is still dependent on tourism, and we

have not taken even that industry to its optimum level. Some people in some parts of the world still don’t know that our country exists. So, we need

to make ourselves visible and known. We are still identified by the name of Mt. Sagarmatha or Lord Buddha. But, Nepal is more than that.

Let us not be dependent on only a few industries, let us go for innovations, develop that sixth sense, a sixth element. I know, it will be very hard to unleash that, but there must be something we can do best, better than others. There must be something which can define us even better. There was nothing called computers before, and now it is ruling

the world. We need to find something, still unexplored; we

need to create something

extraordinary.

When the government is unable to do such things, it becomes the citizens’ responsibility to explore and develop for the benefit of the country. Once, we citizens, who actually are the country, become strong, then a weak government really will not damage us. In fact, the citizens depending on the government might get transformed into the government depending on the citizens.

Let’s make it work. Power is with us, we just need to use it well. Let’s work together to make Nepal extraordinary.
